Buyers Products SaltDogg Electric Stainless Hopper Spreader is ready for commercial use. The 8 ft spreader can fit in the back of an extended-bed 1 ton truck and will work with bulk salt or a 50/50 salt/sand mix. Its electric-powered design means quieter operation with no need for refueling or engine servicing.
The hopper and fully welded frame are made from long lasting, corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel. A 12 in. wide, all steel pintle chain conveyor provides high speed material flow with its independent 3/4 HP, 12V gear motor.
A lever-operated feed gate offers additional material flow control. A six-fin, 14 in. poly spinner powered by an independent 1/2 HP, 12V motor can cast material 5-30 ft. The stainless steel chute can be extended an extra 11-1/2 in. if needed.
The spreader is operated by an intuitive heavy duty in-cab controller with independent spinner and conveyor speeds. The spreader also comes outfitted with a top screen, stainless steel inverted V, and tie down kit.
